The Clock Symphony

... was one of Haydn's eleven London symphonies, six of which have names. The other five are the Surprise (No. 94), the Miracle (No. 96), the Military (No. 100), the Drum Roll (No. 103) and the London (No. 104). The Clock is No. 101.

The London Symphonies (Nos. 94 to 104) were the last symphonies that Haydn wrote.

Seven other Haydn symphonies have names. Four of them are among the six Paris symphonies (Nos. 82 to 87), and they are: the Bear (No. 82), the Hen (No. 83), In Nomine Domini (No. 84) and La Reine (No. 85). The other three named symphonies are the Farewell (No. 45), the Maria Theresa (No. 48) and the Oxford (No. 94).
